Based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Exploration Manager to join our growing Exploration Team.
Exploration Manager - Overview:
The Exploration Manager is responsible for leading and executing the Company's uranium exploration programs in Saskatchewan. Working closely with senior leadership, the Exploration Manager will develop exploration programs and strategies, manage field programs, and oversee field operations aimed at discovering and advancing high-grade uranium deposits.
As a key senior member of a growing team, this role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on involvement. The Exploration Manager will work with the senior leadership team to mentor the technical team and foster a work environment that is discovery-driven. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing exploration programs from concept through execution while contributing directly to budgeting, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice-President Exploration, responsibilities will include:
Project Management & Exploration Strategy:
- Lead the planning and execution of strategic and focused exploration programs.
- Develop and manage annual exploration budgets and work programs.
- Support the development and implementation of exploration strategies focused on the discovery and advancement of uranium targets.
- Evaluate exploration results and make recommendations regarding project advancement and capital allocation.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure programs are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget.
- Coordinate contractors and service providers, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and procedures
- Manage project timelines, logistics, and field operations.
Technical Management:
- Collaborate with the project teams and Senior Geologists to integrate geological, geophysical, geochemical, and drill data to develop exploration models and targeting strategies.
- Collaborate with the project teams and Senior Geologists to generate, evaluate, and prioritize exploration targets using geological, geochemical, geophysical, and historical datasets.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, news releases, and exploration updates for management, Joint Venture partners, and regulatory filings.
- Support NI 43-101 technical reporting requirements when applicable.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead and mentor geologists, technicians, and field personnel.
- Foster a collaborative entrepreneurial-focused culture that is aligned with the Company's values.
- Support recruitment and development of technical staff as exploration activities expand.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to align exploration priorities with corporate objectives.
Regulatory, Community, Health, Safety & Indigenous Engagement:
- Collaborate with permitting and engagement specialists to ensure exploration activities comply with all applicable Saskatchewan regulations, permits, and environmental requirements.
- Support positive working relationships with Indigenous communities, local stakeholders, land users, and government agencies.
- Support consultation activities and community engagement initiatives as required.
- Promote responsible environmental stewardship and safe exploration practices.
- Champion a strong safety culture across all exploration activities.
- Ensure field programs are conducted in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with remote exploration activities.

Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology (required).
- Registered, or has the ability to register for, membership as a Professional Geoscientist in Saskatchewan (APEGS).
- 8+ years of progressive mineral exploration experience, including significant uranium exploration experience.
- Experience working in Saskatchewan, specifically in the Athabasca Basin, is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in target generation, drill program management, and exploration project advancement.
- Experience managing exploration budgets, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of unconformity-related uranium deposit models and associated exploration techniques.
- Experience interpreting geophysical, geochemical, and structural datasets.
- Proficiency with geological software, GIS platforms, and data management systems.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working in a small-company environment where flexibility and initiative are essential.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to spend time in the field and support hands-on exploration activities when required.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
Location
This position will be based out of the Saskatoon office. During exploration programs, the individual will be required to travel to the Project sites as required in support of the operations.
