Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation during the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest inquiries, and performing nightly audits to maintain accurate financial records.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Perform nightly audits, including balancing cash drawers and reconciling transactions.
Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to assist guests effectively.
Operate phone systems with professionalism, ensuring clear communication with guests and staff.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a hotel environment.
Strong communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette
Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management software is advantageous but not required.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for performing nightly audits accurately.
Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
