Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Execute daily menu items in accordance with recipes and portion sizes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.

Cooking Techniques: Demonstrate proficiency in various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, frying, and baking, to meet our culinary standards.

Station Management: Effectively manage a designated cooking station, ensuring all components of the dish are prepared and assembled accurately and efficiently.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation at all times. Conduct regular checks to ensure adherence to recipe specifications.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs and fellow line cooks, to coordinate and expedite orders in a timely manner.

Cleanliness and Sanitation: Adhere to proper food safety and sanitation guidelines, keeping the kitchen and workstations clean and organized. Follow HACCP principles to ensure food safety.

Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, notifying the chef or kitchen manager of any shortages or discrepancies.

Adaptability: Handle last-minute menu changes, special requests, and high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred.

Culinary Knowledge: Solid understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and withstand the physical demands of a busy kitchen.
