Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on work in landscape construction, gardening, and maintenance, supporting the creation and upkeep of beautiful, functional landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills in landscape and construction projects.

Duties

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching
Operate equipment such as excavators and power tools to perform construction and landscaping projects
Install irrigation systems and perform repairs as needed
Use hand tools for planting, digging, and other gardening activities
Maintain and repair landscape features, ensuring safety and aesthetic standards are met
Support with site preparation, grading, and soil conditioning
Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation
Follow safety protocols during all activities to prevent accidents and injuries

Qualifications

Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Mechanical knowledge or experience operating excavators and power tools is a plus
Basic understanding of irrigation systems, construction practices, and general maintenance tasks is desirable
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping or construction projects
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or site travel
