About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) to join our team as an independent contractor in a part-time, remote role.
This is an assessment-based position focused on conducting psychological assessments for children, teens, and/or adults. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessments that support diagnostic clarity, treatment planning, educational recommendations, and a deeper understanding of each patient’s emotional, cognitive, developmental, and relational functioning.
Knowledge and experience with all of the assessment types we provide is considered a strong asset. These include:
- Brief Attachment Focused Assessments for adults, teens, and children
- Psychological/Social-Emotional Assessments
- Therapeutic Assessments
- Psychoeducational Assessments
- Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder Assessments
- Collaborative and Therapeutic Assessments for Adults
- Giftedness Assessments
- Early Developmental Assessments
This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to practice within a clinic that values individualized care, clinical rigour, and meaningful psychological understanding.
Requirements:
- Conduct or supervise the conduction of comprehensive psychological assessments for children, teens, and/or adults.
- Provide assessment services related to emotional, social, developmental, cognitive, academic, attentional, and diagnostic concerns.
- Administer, score, and interpret assessment tools, inventories, interviews, and collateral information as clinically appropriate.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive, and clinically meaningful assessment reports.
- Provide diagnostic impressions and recommendations to support treatment planning, educational planning, and patient understanding.
- Conduct feedback sessions with patients, parents, caregivers, or referring parties, as appropriate.
- Collaborate on individualized case formulations that consider psychological symptoms, developmental history, relational patterns, and broader psychosocial context.
- Document clinical work securely using JaneApp, adhering to professional and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a confidential remote workspace with stable internet, professional lighting, and a quality camera.
- Communicate with patients using a dedicated business phone line.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counselling psychology, school psychology, or a related psychological discipline.
- Registered in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
- Authorized for independent or supervised practice in Ontario with a declared competency to work with adults.
- Demonstrated training and experience administering, scoring, interpreting, and reporting on psychological assessments.
- Experience conducting assessments with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to produce clear, organized, and clinically useful reports.
- Comfort providing virtual psychological assessment services.
- Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centred care.

Experience providing psychodynamic or psychoanalytic therapy to children, adolescents, or adults.
Experience integrating psychodynamic formulation with assessment findings.
Experience working with families, schools, physicians, or other professionals as part of the assessment process.
Experience assessing ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, giftedness, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality functioning, attachment-related concerns, and developmental concerns.
Familiarity with JaneApp or similar practice management software.
Fluency in French or additional languages.
Availability: Monday to Friday, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Flexible scheduling is available based on clinician preference and clinic needs.
