Position Details
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Manitoba Province
Employment Type: Casual / Contract Nursing Opportunities
Specialties: Acute Care, Long-Term Care, ICU, Dialysis, Continuing Care, Rural Healthcare, and Community Healthcare Settings
Shift Availability: Days, evenings, nights, weekends (based on facility requirements)
Pay Rate: $38.00 – $60.00/hour (based on designation, experience, specialty, and assignment requirements)
Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities available upon prehire completion
Travel Support: Some rural assignments may qualify for travel-related support, including mileage reimbursement and travel time compensation, based on location, eligibility criteria, and Augury Healthcare’s travel guidelines. Additional supports, such as accommodations or per diem, may apply for specific assignments and are subject to applicable contract terms.

Position Overview
As an RN or LPN with Augury Healthcare, you will provide safe, high-quality patient and resident care while supporting healthcare teams throughout Manitoba.
You will adapt to different clinical environments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and deliver patient-centred care while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing nursing care to patients and residents within your scope of practice
- Completing patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments safely
- Monitoring and documenting changes in patient condition
- Supporting acute and chronic care needs
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Following facility policies, procedures, and infection prevention standards
- Providing safe, respectful, and patient-centred care
Qualifications
Successful candidates must have:
- Current and active nursing registration in Manitoba (RN or LPN)
- Recent clinical experience in acute care, long-term care, continuing care, rural healthcare, or community healthcare settings
- Current BLS certification
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while adapting to different healthcare environments
- Flexibility to support various shift schedules, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Professional, reliable, and compassionate approach to patient and resident care
