Job Summary

The Bilingual Automotive Service Advisor & Garage Operations Coordinator is responsible for scheduling customer appointments, coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs, ordering automotive parts, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and technicians while also handling payments, administrative duties, inventory coordination, and day-to-day service operations. The successful candidate must be fluent in French and able to communicate effectively in English.

Key Responsibilities

Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
Schedule and manage customer appointments
Greet customers and assess their service and repair needs
Prepare service estimates and communicate recommended work
Order automotive parts and ensure availability for scheduled repairs
Manage parts inventory, including receiving, tracking, and organizing inventory
Coordinate workflow with technicians and provide accurate service updates to customers
Communicate with suppliers regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
May occasionally assist with basic automotive services, including tire changes and oil changes, as required
Process payments, prepare invoices, and issue receipts
Maintain accurate service records, work orders, inventory records, and payment documentation
Deliver friendly, professional, and customer-focused service
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient reception area and work environment
Help maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive service, parts department, inventory management, or repair shop environment
Experience ordering automotive parts and coordinating with suppliers
Ability to prepare invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate records
Knowledge of automotive parts, inventory control, and service operations
Fluent in spoken and written French
Functional proficiency in spoken and written English
Basic mechanical knowledge, including tire changes and oil changes
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Proficiency with basic computer systems and service management software is an asset
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude

Work Environment

Automotive garage and service shop setting
Regular interaction with customers, technicians, and suppliers
Fast-paced, hands-on environment requiring flexibility and teamwork
Combination of office, customer service, inventory management, and shop-floor responsibilities

Salary

Competitive salary based on experience
To be discussed during the interview
Potential for increases based on performance and experience

Pay: $15.90-$25.00 per hour
