Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other food items, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth restaurant operations.

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to company recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience
Handle cashier responsibilities, including processing payments accurately and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas, adhering to sanitation standards
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order completion
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth workflow during shifts
Provide friendly customer service, addressing questions or concerns professionally

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred, especially in a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and communication
Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
