Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product features, and supporting sales initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in technology sales, merchandising, and upselling within a fast-paced retail environment. Fluency in multiple languages and strong communication skills are highly valued to effectively engage diverse customers and enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, highlighting benefits to drive sales
Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring product availability
Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
Upsell additional products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a friendly attitude
Manage time efficiently to ensure all customer needs are met promptly during busy periods
Maintain organized stock areas and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting
Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
Demonstrate proficiency in bilingual communication when assisting diverse clientele

Qualifications

2years of experience in jewelry retail sales, and customer service is required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and merchandising is a plus
Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
