Monette Produce is seeking Seasonal Class 1A Truck Drivers / Farm Operators to support our vegetable harvest operations from September to November in Outlook, Saskatchewan.
This is a harvest position that requires a strong commitment during the peak harvest season. Harvest is weather-dependent and time-sensitive, requiring extended shifts, weekend work, early mornings, late evenings, and, at times, multiple consecutive days of work. Candidates must be willing and able to meet these demands throughout the September to November harvest period.
This role is centered around transportation and harvest logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely moving harvested vegetables, farm equipment, and materials between fields, storage facilities, and production sites while helping ensure harvest operations remain on schedule.
Employee housing may be available, subject to availability and at a cost.
What You’ll Do
- Operate Class 1A trucks and trailers to transport harvested vegetables throughout the harvest season
- Haul equipment, materials, and harvest supplies between farm locations
- Follow instructed product movement between field crews, storage facilities, and packing operations
- Ensure loads are secured, transported safely, and delivered on schedule
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance requirements
- Assist with loading and unloading of harvested product when required
- Support harvest operations during downtime between transportation activities
- Follow all transportation, farm safety, and food safety requirements
What You'll Bring
- Valid Class 1A Driver’s License (Required)
- Experience operating semi-trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles
- Strong understanding of safe load securement and transportation practices
- Experience in agriculture, harvest operations, or heavy equipment operation is an asset
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to identify and report equipment concerns
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently under tight harvest timelines
- Must have your own reliable transportation to commute to and from the main warehouse
