We’re looking for an Automation & Controls Engineer/Specialist for a 18 Month Term (https://recruiting.ultipro.ca/TOL5000/OpportunityCreate?opportunityId=25cacf89-efcb-4a91-9899-95bf13bbd826) to join our Athabasca OSB Division, located in Slave Lake, Alberta. This state-of-the-art facility has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative products for customers around the world.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- A qualified Trades Certification with relevant experience, an Engineering degree, or an Engineering Technical Diploma.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment (forest products manufacturing preferred).
- Experience with PLC programming such as Allen Bradley, HMI or Rockwell (Rockwell Studio 5000 preferred).
- Experience with Human Machine Interfaces.
- Proficient with FactoryTalk software (View, Linx, AssetCentre, etc.).
- Experience with industrial machine automation.
