Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Help maintain a positive work environment by supporting fellow team members and contributing to a cohesive kitchen atmosphere.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices within the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
