Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. This busy bakery position includes scheduling, training and covering of storefront staff, product packaging, and customer service. This job requires a person able to work some early mornings in a fast paced, time sensitive environment. We are looking for a reliable team player, with the ability to work independently. We provide a good, competitive starting wage with opportunity to increase quickly. This role requires strong leadership skills and effective communication. As a Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience while managing staff effectively.

Duties

Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Lead and motivate the team to provide exceptional customer service.
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products.
Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team performance.
Recruit, interview, and supervise staff members while fostering a positive work environment.
Utilize POS systems for transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of store presentation.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with strong time management capabilities.
Ability to lead by example while fostering teamwork within the store environment.
Strong customer service skillset.
Knowledge of bakery operations is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
