Registered Social Worker Independent Contractor Opportunity

CommuniCare Therapy is a therapist owned and operated accredited company based in Ottawa- Carleton and proudly serving the Eastern Ontario region since 1992 as a service provider for Ontario Health atHome and Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

More than 60 clinicians comprise our dynamic team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, registered dietitians and social workers.

CommuniCare Therapy has been working with Independent Contractors in the community for over 25 years. Services allow clinicians the opportunity to work in the patient’s most important environment – their private residence or retirement home.

We have immediate opportunities for a part time ( 2 to 4 days) Registered Social Worker in our adult home-based care program in the following location:

South East Region

Prescott and Cardinal and surrounding areas (1-2 days per week)

Smiths Falls and Perth (2 days per week)

As an Independent Contractor, Registered Social Workers with CommuniCare Therapy can expect:

All applicants require the following:

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university or equivalent education & experience
Membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Bilingualism will be considered an asset.
