PROTx Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (Employee) to join our growing multidisciplinary team and make a real impact in the lives of clients across Nova Scotia.
This role is ideal for an OT who values flexibility and clinical autonomy while benefiting from the stability, support, and collaboration of an employed position. You will work with clients experiencing a range of musculoskeletal (MSK) barriers to occupation, as well as first responders experiencing psychological injuries, within a coordinated and team-based care environment.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments in a variety of settings, including home, community, facility-based, and virtual environments
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with client goals within the context of the treatment team
- Evaluate and report on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with all regulatory and company standards
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to support meaningful client outcomes
- Travel within the community as required (use of a personal vehicle is necessary)
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid and current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Nova Scotia
- Experience level is flexible; 2+ years preferred, with consideration given to new graduates who have relevant fieldwork experience
- Strong assessment and documentation skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for community-based work
- Registered with the Nova Scotia Occupational Therapy Regulators (NSOTR)
- Professional liability insurance (min. 2 million coverage)
