Position Summary
Fitset Ninja is seeking a creative and detail-oriented student to join our team as a Digital Content Creator. This role provides hands-on experience in digital storytelling, brand development, and multimedia production within a fast-growing sports organization.
The Digital Content Creator will play a key role in documenting and producing digital content that showcases Fitset Ninja’s programs, athlete journeys, facility development, and expansion into new markets. Working closely with leadership, the Digital Content Creator will contribute to a multi-platform content strategy, including graphics, images, short-form video and long-form YouTube content.

Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photo and video content across programs, events, and daily operations
- Create photo and short-form video content for social media platforms
- Produce and edit long-form videos for the Fitset Ninja YouTube channel that documents and highlights key initiatives including:
- New facility build process
- Competitive Team athletes journeys
- Coach stories
- Launch of new location (Kelowna)
- Behind-the-scenes company culture
- Collaborate with leadership to align content with brand strategy and marketing goals
- Plan content calendar, research hooks, write outlines
- Organize and maintain a digital media library (photos, video assets, branding files)
- Own basic analytics and weekly reporting
- Stay up to date on social media trends
- Capture founder frameworks, quotes, metaphors into reusable assets
- Demonstrate the Fitset Ninja Mission & Values of Growth Mindset, Team and Passion for Helping Others
- Provide feedback to the organization on opportunities for improvement and growth
KPIs
- Consistently create content that aligns with Fitset Ninja’s brand, mission, and values
- Capture and organize media content from programs, events, and special initiatives on a consistent basis
- Produce 1 long-form YouTube video per week
- Repurpose long-form content into 5–10 short-form videos per week across social platforms
- Deliver 10–20 edited photos, graphics, or visual assets per week
- Maintain and execute the weekly content calendar, ensuring content is published accurately and on schedule
- Share highlights from major events within established turnaround timelines (e.g., 24–72 hours post-event)
- Track and report on engagement, reach, and performance metrics using analytics tools including Meta Insights and YouTube Studio
- Contribute to audience growth objectives, including increasing channel views by 100% within 90 days
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Media, Film, Digital Arts, or related field)
- Strong interest in social media, digital storytelling, and content creation
- Basic experience with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, etc.)
- Comfortable filming and working in active environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
