Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with their purchases, and ensure the sales floor is well-organized and inviting. The ideal candidate is passionate about retail, has excellent communication skills, and possesses a strong knowledge of merchandising, horticulture, and landscape maintenance. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your sales skills and grow within our company.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Provide product knowledge on related merchandise
Maintain the visual presentation of the store through effective merchandising and organization
Support inventory management by stocking shelves and organizing displays
Assist with e-commerce orders and ensure timely processing of online sales
Offer multilingual support to accommodate diverse customer needs (if applicable)
Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing solutions to enhance their shopping experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to ensure a welcoming environment

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
Strong customer service and communication skills in English (multilingual abilities are a plus)
Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, and related products
Experience in retail sales, merchandising, and cashiering preferred
Organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store presentation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is advantageous
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration

Pay: $18.25-$20.85 per hour
