About the Role
We are looking for a Full-Time Temporary Landscape Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Supporting senior staff with onsite project requirements
· Unit paving and unit block walls
· Preparing garden beds including planting shrubs, trees, flowers and installation of lawns
· Movement and grading of bulk materials and aggregates
· Trenching and installing irrigation and drainage piping
· Other tasks as required onsite
Requirements
· Work safely and follow company OHS policy
· Adhere to Work Safe BC requirements
· Maintain good attendance and punctuality
· Demonstrate initiative and motivation to complete assigned tasks
· Complete assigned tasks at productivity level required/communicated by senior staff
· Represent Rockhill Contracting by demonstrating professionalism on and off site
· Regularly and repetitively lift and move heavy items
· Be comfortable working in all weather conditions
Compensation
This is a full-time temporary position with the possibility of extension depending on project and operational needs. The expected salary for this role is approximately $26-$30 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Overtime may be required depending on operational needs.
