Full job description

Our outsourced accounting business has a couple of openings for experienced accounting and / or bookkeeping staff to work from our office and / or from a home office location in Metro Vancouver or else where in BC or Alberta. We are growing and require senior bookkeeping and accounting staff with full cycle accounting experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a wide variety of accounting experience and to those with prior public practice accounting experience. As well, extensive experience with Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online or Xero or Netsuite and other accounting software applications is mandatory .

Our staff get involved in an variety of assignments which provide for the opportunity for personal growth and to obtain a variety of new experiences. We have the technical ability to allow staff to work on companies accounting records remotely, creating a highly flexible and Hybrid work environment. Successful candidates will enjoy providing superior bookkeeping and /or accounting services to monthly clients. They will also possess superior written and verbal English communication skills. Since we are still experiencing significant growth, we are interested in people who would like to grow and learn with us.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
