Branches Fresh Food Experience is not your everyday restaurant. Nestled within Greenland Garden Centre, Branches is surrounded by lush greenery, beautiful seasonal displays, and thoughtfully designed garden spaces, creating a dining atmosphere that feels both distinctive and inviting.

It was created to offer something truly special: thoughtfully prepared food, warm hospitality, and a guest experience that begins the moment someone arrives at Greenland.

Our guests come to gather with family and friends, celebrate milestones and special occasions, and enjoy moments that become part of their memories. That is why every part of the experience matters: the welcome, the presentation, the attentiveness of the service, and the way our team makes people feel throughout their visit.

We are looking for an experienced Front-of-House Manager who genuinely loves hospitality and understands that exceptional service is about more than keeping a restaurant running smoothly. It is about creating an atmosphere, connecting with people, noticing what others may miss, and helping a team deliver an experience that feels warm, thoughtful, and memorable.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to be on the floor, alongside the team, and immersed in the guest experience. You will lead by example, support and develop your team, anticipate what guests need, and help create the rhythm, warmth, and attention to detail that make Branches special.

We’re looking for a leader who notices the details, brings people together, and takes pride in creating great service from start to finish. Someone who leads from the floor, supports their team, and understands how the smallest details can shape an exceptional guest experience.

Position:

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Front-of-House Manager for Branches Fresh Food Experience.

What You Will Do:

Lead the Front-of-House team during daily restaurant service, maintaining an active and visible presence on the floor
Work alongside the team to support exceptional guest service and smooth shift execution
Oversee guest flow, seating, pacing, table turnover, and overall floor readiness
Provide clear direction and support to the Front-of-House Supervisor, Shift Leaders, Servers, and other team members
Keep the team engaged and service-focused by assigning and redirecting duties as restaurant needs change
Work closely with the Back-of-House team to support strong communication, food timing, expo, and overall service flow
Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and support the ongoing development of Front-of-House employees
Recognize strong performance and address performance or conduct concerns promptly and professionally
Prepare Front-of-House schedules with consideration for restaurant needs, staff availability, and labour costs
Respond to call-ins and changing floor demands by adjusting staffing and responsibilities as required
Ensure standards for service, cleanliness, food safety, health and safety, and restaurant presentation are consistently maintained
Respond to guest concerns professionally and help create positive solutions
Support opening and closing procedures, including cash-handling responsibilities
Oversee Front-of-House supplies, inventory, and pooled tip administration in accordance with Company procedures
Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with the team, leadership, Human Resources, and other departments

What You Will Bring:

Previous Front-of-House restaurant management experience
Strong knowledge of restaurant floor operations and service flow
A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside your team
Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for exceptional guest service
A calm, thoughtful approach to leadership that supports open communication, clear expectations, and positive resolution when challenges arise
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively across Branches and Greenland Garden Centre
Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a busy environment
Experience with staff scheduling and an understanding of labour costs
Experience with cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and restaurant POS systems
Valid AGLC ProServe certification

Schedule Expectations:

This position is generally based on a minimum of approximately 37.5 hours per week, with additional hours required during our busiest periods. During peak seasons, particularly April through June and November, approximately 48–50 hours per week may be expected.

Availability during peak periods is an important part of this role. Vacation and extended time-off may be more limited during these times, with greater flexibility available throughout the rest of the year.

This position also requires flexible availability, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.

Following our busy holiday season, Branches typically closes for approximately two weeks in January, giving the team an opportunity to recharge before the year ahead.
