Butcher’s Assistant / Cleaner

Location: Beam & Blade Butchers – St. Gregor, SK
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Butcher’s Assistant / Cleaner. This role is essential to keeping our shop clean, organized, and running efficiently while supporting the butchers with day-to-day tasks.

No experience is necessary — we are willing to train the right person. This position has strong potential to grow into a long-term career in the meat industry.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging, labeling, and stocking products
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas
Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces
Assist butchers with basic prep tasks as needed
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications

Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physically capable of lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
