Our client is seeking a professional and outgoing Administrative & Accounting Coordinator to join their team. This position plays a key role in supporting order processing, customer service, accounts receivable administration, and general office operations.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Clarke's Beach, Newfoundland, and an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional administrative, accounting, and customer service support while contributing to the success of a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:

Process incoming product orders received through phone, email, and online platforms

Proactively contact customers to obtain and confirm orders as required

Coordinate order fulfillment by communicating order details to production and operations teams

Prepare and distribute customer invoices to accompany orders
-
Order products from third-party suppliers as required
-
Input and maintain accounts receivable
-
Process purchase orders, advance shipping notices, and invoices
-
Prepare and distribute customer price change notifications
-
Maintain and update pricing schedules and customer records
-
Manage petty cash and related recordkeeping

Provide backup support for reception duties as required

Maintain organized records, files, and administrative documentation

Respond to customer inquiries and provide professional customer service
Experience & Attributes for Success:
-
Previous experience in a versatile accounting, administrative, customer service, or order processing role

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
-
Experience with Sage accounting software is considered a strong asset
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
-
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
