Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician with a strong interest in HVAC installations. The ideal candidate will have residential electrical experience and be eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment focused on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential settings.
- Participate in electrical installations related to HVAC equipment, including wiring, controls, and electrical components.
- Work with an experienced team on Electrical Projects both Residential and Commercial.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve electrical and HVAC system issues under the guidance of journeyman electricians.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to local electrical and HVAC codes and regulations.
- Learn to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics related to HVAC installations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential electrical work or HVAC installation is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program is an asset.
- Strong interest in HVAC technologies and systems.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from experienced electricians.
- Physical ability to perform tasks and lift equipment as needed.
