Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Customer Service professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food service or the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a passion for delivering a positive customer experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks using proper techniques and equipment.
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures.
Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food preparation surfaces, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to support team operations.
Manage order processing efficiently using POS systems, ensuring quick turnaround times during busy periods.
Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and adhering to food handling regulations.
Support team members during peak hours by managing multiple responsibilities such as serving, cashiering, and cleaning.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is desirable.
