Are you seeking an opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic, safety-focused, and team-oriented environment? If so, Kent Building Supplies is looking for an Overnight Freight Supervisor to join our team at our Contractor Supply location - 10 Messenger Drive, St. John's, Newfoundland.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9pm-6am

Lead the overnight freight team by setting high standards in safety, customer service, and merchandising.
Communicate priorities and expectations clearly to associates, ensuring they have the tools and guidance to succeed.
Monitor and support associate performance through coaching, feedback, and identifying training needs.
Address associate and customer concerns professionally and constructively.
Participate in inventory management, marketing execution, and team meetings.
Perform general sales associate duties as required.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Previous supervisory experience in a retail setting is an asset.
Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a passion for motivating and developing others.
Demonstrated commitment to achieving goals and continuous improvement.
Availability for overnight shifts (9 PM – 6 AM, Monday to Friday).
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Physically capable of performing manual labor.

Willingness to learn and operate machinery (21+ years of age due to Forklift requirement; in-house training to be provided).
