Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef / Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing and presenting high-quality desserts and savory dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, baking, and kitchen operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining food safety standards. Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of desserts.
Assist in food preparation for daily service, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
Cook and assemble menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Handle food safely during preparation, storage, and service to ensure compliance with health standards.
Support the team with food handling, portioning, and plating to optimize customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
Contribute ideas for new menu items or improvements based on industry trends and customer feedback.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, preferably as a pastry chef or line cook.
Skilled in cake decorating, baking, food preparation, and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including packaging and presentation of food items.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
Kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food industry standards is highly desirable.
