Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutors to support students in achieving their academic goals. This role involves providing personalized instruction across various subjects, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students build confidence in their abilities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience working with children, and a passion for education. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys while developing your teaching skills.

Duties

Deliver one-on-one in person/ Online or Hybrid tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
Assist students with understanding difficult concepts and improving their study skills
Develop customized lesson plans and educational materials to enhance learning outcomes
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to align tutoring efforts with academic goals
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student performance
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and age groups

Qualifications

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred
Strong knowledge of relevant academic subjects and curriculum standards
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively
Experience working with children or in classroom settings is a plus
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
Ability to motivate and inspire learners of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
Reliable, organized, and committed to maintaining a consistent schedule

Tutor Doctor also provides Assessments to clients to assist in their success that provides our students with the advantage to succeed in the best practices to help succeed in the present day and in future endeavors.

Pay: $16.50-$22.00 per hour
