Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of various welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical processes to ensure high-quality production standards. The position offers an opportunity to work on structural steel fabrication.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications
Perform MIG welding on steel with attention to quality and safety standards
Operate press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and form materials
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise cuts and assemblies
Rigging materials and components for lifting or positioning using cranes or forklifts as needed
Assemble fabricated parts according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and finish
Conduct machining operations on parts requiring additional shaping or finishing
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues and recommend improvements for efficiency

Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding, oxy-torch cutting, and general welding techniques
Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and equipment operation
Experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
Ability to operate machinery such as press brake machines, machining tools, cranes, forklifts.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Knowledge of manufacturing standards related to construction
Ability to interpret schematics and assembly instructions accurately
Strong understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing or construction environment

This position is ideal for individuals with a background in fabrication or welding seeking a dynamic role that combines technical skill with hands-on craftsmanship.
