Full job description

Congil Truck Lines is a family-owned and operated transportation / Logistics company based in London, Ontario. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Accounting & Administration to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting and office administration functions.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a busy transportation environment.

The successful candidate will report directly to the President and General Manager and will work closely with ownership and operations to support the company’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting and administrative functions
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Payroll support and related reporting
Government remittances and tax reporting
Bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
Assist with financial reporting and year/ month-end preparation
Communicate regularly with owner-operators, employees, suppliers, finance providers, government agencies, and third-party vendors
Follow up on outstanding paperwork, documentation, payments, and administrative items
Help improve office procedures, record keeping, and internal processes
Support the President and General Manager with administrative and financial tasks as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or a similar role
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working with employees, owner-operators, vendors, and outside service providers
Able to manage deadlines and follow through on tasks
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Comfortable learning and improving systems and processes
Transportation industry experience would be an asset, but is not required
Comfortable using Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Outlook. Experience with Axon TMS or other transportation management software would be an asset, but is not required.

Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
