As the ideal candidate, you have:
- University degree in health-related field, health informatics, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by the Hospital
- Master's degree, or University degree + Designation preferred
- Current registration in good standing with applicable Ontario regulatory college preferred
- Experience with RadNet applications preferred
- CPHIMS-CA preferred
- Three (3) to five (5) years of recent related experience required
- Demonstrated ability to utilize initiative, vision, independent thinking
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities to implement educational action plans and assess practice requirements, concerns, and issues
- Proficiency in time management and self-directed work
- Ability to work effectively under time pressures to meet deadlines, balance work priorities and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Proficient interpersonal and effective verbal and written communication skills (i.e., report writing and presentations)
- Ability to effectively work with diversity, appreciating that different opinions, backgrounds and characteristics can bring richness to the challenge at hand
- Demonstrated aptitude for using and supporting technology and information systems
- Experience leveraging Employee Health Records (EHRs) in an acute care hospital setting
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
