Full job description

About the Role:
SWIM is seeking a compassionate and organized Human Resources Assistant to support our staff, volunteers, and single-mother clients. This role ensures smooth HR and office operations, handling administrative tasks with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update HR and office records, both manual and electronic.
Prepare, proofread, and distribute reports, correspondence, and training materials.
Screen, respond to, and direct inquiries from staff, volunteers, and clients.
Assist in coordinating meetings, events, and training sessions.
Manage office logistics, supplies, and visitor reception.
Support board and Executive Director reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

Completion of secondary school; post-secondary diploma in Office Administration, Human Resources Business Management, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office technologies.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Customer-service oriented, adaptable, and sensitive to single-mother families.
Experience in administrative or HR support is an asset.
