About Us:
Specializing in whole home renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, basements and commercial spaces, the Riverside Construction team is committed to excellence in reliability, craftsmanship, quality and service. We’re organized, forward thinking and process driven and our production schedule is always full.

The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter that will take ownership of the assigned project to help us meet our client’s needs. Placing a high priority on the ability to plan and execute on the job, the Lead Carpenter supports the Project Manager as “boots on the ground” by coordinating and completing day-to-day construction on assigned projects and communicating progress with the team via our Mobile App. As a leader on site, the Lead Carpenter has the knowledge to help coach teammates to develop their carpentry and renovation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination for assigned Projects:

Know and understand project plans and schedules.
Plan material and personnel needs.
Update project status via a Mobile App.

2. Site Leadership:

Executes on deliverables assigned by the PM, ensuring the site team meets the assigned timelines.
Positive and motivating leadership style – we like to have fun on the job!
Proactive communication to the team and the Project Manager.

3. Site Management:

Supervises subtrades where necessary
Monitors site safety.
Responsible for the security and preparation of company tools and equipment.

4. Carpentry:

Is looked up to on site for their high level of craftsmanship.
Coaches the site team to help develop their skills.
Requests help/guidance from the PM when necessary

5. Quality Assurance:

Proactively monitors quality throughout the project.

Qualifications:

4+ Years Residential Framing experience
4+ Years Trim/Finish Carpentry experience
Tech Savvy with a willingness to use a Mobile App to communicate progress daily
Organized with strong Time Management and Planning skills
Strong working knowledge of job site safety and building codes
High standard of quality and professionalism
Excellent communication and people skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
