The Opportunity:
Clearview Co-op is hiring a Senior Manager, C-Store Operations to work at our Administration Office located in Mitchell.
What You Would Do:
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, and leading the C-Store & Gas Bar Division, you will achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses, and inventory and execute sales strategies that support the Co-op’s mission and vision. Your key responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership to the C-Store District Managers, Contract Dealer Operators, Pricing Coordinator, and C-Store Delivery team.
- Promote C-Store sustainability into the future and allow for continued growth.
- Collaborate with the Petroleum department for fuel pricing & pump maintenance.
- Ensure effective training in the areas of customer service and related job duties, policies, procedures, and culture.
- Responsible for overall development, performance management and recruiting of direct reports; this includes evaluating performance and taking corrective measures.
- Provide feedback to direct reports as required through training, coaching, or providing corrective measures to meet objectives.
- Responsible for developing an annual staff training plan including self-development to improve the team’s knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
- Responsible for C-Store division budget preparation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance.
- Review monthly income statements to ensure expense control and establish goals.
- Develop and present plans for capital projects including land and buildings, equipment, and potential acquisitions.
- Work with Marketing to coordinate local advertising including newspaper, radio, social and digital advertising.
- Direct and coordinate with the Finance department the annual sales, administration, and capital budgets in such a way to maximize the long-term profitability of the Co-op.

What You Possess:
- 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in a retail environment, including 5 years of experience leading technical or professional staff.
- Experience overseeing and monitoring client satisfaction levels.
- Ability to maximize operational efficiency through controlling costs and increasing sales and margin.
- Degree in related field preferred.
