We currently have an opportunity for a Marketing Administrative Assistant to join our Marketing team for a 7-month term, working from our head office in Steinbach, MB. Working within a team you will assist in all functions of the planning and execution of Barkman Concrete’s marketing strategies and initiatives.

As a Marketing Administrative Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Prioritize and manage tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives
Maintain accurate and up to date customer and marketing information across various platforms
Organize and manage digital and physical marketing assets
Monitor marketing inventory and coordinate ordering promotional merchandise and supplies
Assist with customer-facing requests, including providing product photos, customer information, promotional materials, and event-related support
Assist and support customers in the implementation of advertising and promotional materials, in-store merchandising, and display installations, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
Support ongoing Barkman brand development and ensure consistency with established branding
Contribute to the creation and coordination of content, including imagery, design support, copywriting, video, blogs, social media, and email marketing
Stay up to date on marketing trends and best practices to support continuous improvement
Additional marketing-related tasks and projects as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

Highly organized handling multiple projects with strong time management skills
Excellent written, verbal and comprehension skills
Proven team player who is highly adaptable
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud
Working knowledge of marketing principles and brand awareness
Highly creative and versatile
Willingness to learn
Valid driver’s license
University degree or college diploma in marketing, business administration or related field considered an asset
Customer service experience considered an asset
