Full job description

Shift: 10-12 hour shift Saturday and Sunday

Milk Receiver Job Functions:

Coordinates and supports the Production Manager to facilitate effective, efficient and smooth milk receiving activities
Maintains the raw area of the plant, ensuring the highest level of sanitation and product quality is maintained at all times.
Performs sanitation on all raw area equipment according to the requirements given in the sanitation manual.
Receives milk from the transport milk truck and ensures the milk received meets all food safety requirements.
Maintains accurate documentation ensuring it meets Food Safety Program (HACCP) requirements.
Maintains the rotation of milk used according to program requirements.
Pays close attention to detail ensuring the consistent maintenance of time, temperature and sanitation procedures.
Takes initiative to assist with other departments/areas as required.

Manages time effectively, meets goals, and works effectively and cooperatively with other members of the Bothwell Cheese team.
Follows company policies and procedures.
Consistently maintains high levels of accuracy with any and all tasks and reports.

Provides suggestions, ideas and recommendations to increase efficiencies and cut costs.
