As we continue to grow, we're looking for an energetic sales professional who enjoys connecting with people and representing local craft beer.
Position Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales, building relationships with customers, promoting the Stettler Brewing Company brand, and expanding our presence throughout the region. This position involves travel to liquor stores, restaurants, bars, festivals, farmers' markets, and community events. The successful candidate will also support merchandising, deliveries, and promotional activities as required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with liquor stores, restaurants, bars, and licensed establishments.
- Identify new sales opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits.
- Present seasonal beers and new product releases.
- Negotiate product placements and promotional opportunities.
- Follow up with customers to maintain strong relationships.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Represent the brewery professionally.
- Attend farmers' markets, trade shows, beer festivals, and community events.
- Conduct beer tastings and sampling events.
- Educate customers about our products and brewing process.
- Assist with social media content by capturing photos and sharing event updates with the marketing team.
Deliveries & Merchandising
- Deliver products when required.
- Set up displays and promotional materials.
- Ensure products are properly merchandised.
- Monitor inventory levels at customer locations.
- Assist with taproom merchandise when needed.
Event Support
- Coordinate brewery participation in festivals and markets.
- Transport equipment, merchandise, and beer to events.
- Set up and tear down festival booths.
- Assist with pouring and customer service during events.
- Work evenings and weekends during the busy summer season.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain customer records.
- Prepare weekly sales reports.
- Track sales goals.
- Assist with invoice follow-up and customer communications.
- Coordinate with ownership regarding production forecasts and inventory needs.
Qualifications
- Sales experience is preferred.
- Hospitality or beverage industry experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with strong time management.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Willingness to travel throughout Alberta and work weekends during festivals and events.

Compensation
- Hourly wage: $25.00–$35.00 per hour. Depending on experience and proven success in beverage or craft beer sales, wages could be reconsidered.
- Candidates with established relationships within Alberta's craft beer, liquor retail, or hospitality industry will be considered for compensation at the upper end of the wage range.
- Wage reviews will be based on sales performance, customer retention, business development, and overall contribution to the continued growth of Stettler Brewing Company.
- Mileage reimbursement or use of a company vehicle for approved business travel will be provided in accordance with company policy.
- Additional hours may be required during festivals, markets, promotional events, and the busy summer season.
