Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Gymnastics , Cheer/Tumbling Coach to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who brings strong technical knowledge, leadership, and a passion for athlete development. We are looking for coaches for both our recreational and competitive programs.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching, ensuring athlete safety, and contributing to a positive and professional team environment.
Qualifications
- NCCP Foundations (Or equivalent: Old NCCP Level 1)
- NCCP Competition 1 Certified (or equivalent: Old NCCP Level 2)
- Strong spotting skills (preferred and/or willing to train)
- Valid First Aid Certification (preferred or willing to obtain at your own expense)
- Minimum 2 years coaching experience in gymnastics and/or tumbling (preferred)
- Strong understanding of skill progressions and safe spotting techniques
- Experience working with athletes of varying levels (recreational to competitive)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging gymnastics/tumbling classes
- Coach athletes with proper technique, progression, and safety standards
- Provide constructive feedback to support athlete growth and confidence
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized training environment
- Collaborate with team members and participate in team trainings to maintain program consistency and quality
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, co-workers and leadership
- Support events, evaluations, and team development initiatives
