Location: 5153 Fountain St N, Breslau, ON N0B 1M0

Shift: Day Shift (7:00am - 3:00pm)

Our expertise in providing stamping solutions allows us to achieve this for our customers.

Job Responsibilities

Perform inspections and testing as detailed in instructions and in accordance with established practices.
Document inspection results in a clear, accurate, and neat manner.
Maintain inspection and test records and part drawings per Q.A. department procedures.
Verify that parts being produced are within specifications.
Verify that incoming material is within specifications.
Assist in monitoring sorting and rework activities as applicable to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
Determine quality issues and issue relevant documentation
Recognize and acknowledge that defective parts represent substantial losses to our company and take an active part in reducing and eliminating problems.
Ensure gauges and fixtures are maintained in good working condition
Maintain calibration schedule and document calibration results - report any out of calibration conditions, damage or loss of equipment
Generate, modify and troubleshoot CMM programs using PC DMIS or other software as required.
Operate CMM to measure parts
Compare actual measurements to desired dimensions and submit appropriate reports
Maintain CMM activity schedule and record of activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed.
Post-Secondary Education preferred; High School diploma required.
Training in Quality Assurance principles
ASQ education an asset
Computer skills in PC-DMIS, MS Office
Demonstrated ability in blue print interpretation, dimensional measurement, mathematical ability, and GD&T
2 years related experience in Quality Assurance
1 year "hands on" experience in automotive part metal stampings
Basic knowledge of TS16949 and ISO9001 Quality Standards.
