Overview
We are a family looking for a responsible Nanny/Child Caregiver to provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, capable of fostering their development, and committed to creating a positive experience for both the children and their families. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while supporting their growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor children’s activities to ensure safety and engagement

Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs
Assist with daily routines including dressing, bathing, and bedtime preparations
Engage children in educational activities, play, and teaching moments to promote development
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning up after children, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
Support children with special needs or disabilities as required, providing compassionate caregiving
Encourage positive behavior and social skills through guidance and interaction
Administer medication or care plans as directed by parents or healthcare providers when necessary

Qualifications

Prior experience working with children, including infants or toddlers preferred
Knowledge of caregiving best practices and child safety protocols
Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for children
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
Skills in cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a hygienic environment
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and children
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with kids
Ability to follow instructions carefully and adapt to the needs of each child

Work environment

Full time position 30=40 hrs per week

Private home environment

Live in - Live out arrangement (to be discussed)
