Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality sandwiches and other food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong time management skills, and experience in food service or the food industry. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where teamwork and customer satisfaction are priorities.

Responsibilities

Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Ensure all food is prepared safely, following sanitation and food safety guidelines
Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy hours to maintain timely service
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, utensils, and food preparation stations
Handle cashier duties accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met

Skills

Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
Understanding of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales opportunities
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Pay: $17.65-$18.50 per hour
