Position Overview
The Finisher / Spray Technician will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing kitchen cabinetry and related components using professional spray equipment. This role requires an expert touch, a keen eye for detail, and pride in producing a premium-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, sand, and finish cabinet parts, doors, and panels to company standards
- Apply stains, paints, lacquers, and clear coats using HVLP or similar spray systems
- Mix and match colors and sheens according to specifications
- Inspect all finished components for quality and consistency
- Maintain spray equipment and ensure a clean, organized finishing area
- Follow all safety protocols and proper material handling procedures
- Collaborate with the production team to meet schedules and quality goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cabinet or furniture finishing
- Skilled in spray application using HVLP or air-assisted systems
- Knowledge of wood finishing techniques, materials, and surface preparation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
