Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Daytime Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation for our restaurant establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, food handling, and supporting kitchen operations during daytime hours.
The position runs from June 29th to October 31st.
35 to 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen work area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by helping with food service and other duties as needed.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Skills

Experience in cleaning and maintaining sanitation standards in a restaurant.
Previous restaurant or hotel experience is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during daytime hours.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills while supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen team during daytime shifts. We value dedication, cleanliness, and a positive attitude in our staff to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
