Job Summary
Aarex Solutions Ltd., a leading manufacturer of PET bottles, jars, and custom packaging solutions, is seeking a PET Preform Stretch Blow Molding Machine Operator to join our production team in Aldergrove, BC.
This position involves operating and maintaining PET preform injection and stretch blow molding machines to produce high-quality bottles and containers used in the food, beverage, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor PET preform injection and stretch blow molding machines.
- Set up, start up, and shut down machines according to production schedules.
- Inspect bottles and preforms for defects, weight, and dimensional accuracy.
- Troubleshoot process issues and make necessary machine adjustments.
- Perform daily maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of molding equipment.
- Record production data, including rejects, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to meet output goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
- Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing required PPE and following all company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in PET stretch blow molding, injection molding, or plastics manufacturing preferred.
- Strong understanding of molding parameters, temperature control, and production quality checks.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, work with the team, and meet deadlines.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a technical or trade certification is an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during 8-hour shifts.
- Capable of lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment.
- Must wear required PPE and comply with all safety policies.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Day and evening shifts (occasional weekends or overtime as needed)

Training
- Completion of Aarex Solutions’ Production and Machine Operator Training Program within 90 days of hire.
