We are looking for a reliable Residential Landscape/Hardscape Foreperson, with knowledge and experience in paving stone, driveways, patio and path installs, natural stone installation, concrete, retaining wall installation, turf and artificial turf Installations, garden installations, lawn and garden drainage, water features and material installation such as soil, mulch and gravels, planting, excavation.

Job Duties:
- Execution of landscape installs and projects
- Read and interpret, drawings, and specifications to delegate/complete work activities
- Manage safety, quality and productivity of a landscape construction crew of 2 to 6 employees
- Delegate job tasks to appropriate crew members to assist in the completion of landscape projects
- Operate various tools and equipment (excavator and skid steer)
- Construction of walls, walkways, driveways, patios, installation of lawns, gardens
- Move and transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies and manual lifting
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis
- Complete time sheets for all crew members
- Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, job sites, and shop/yard areas
- Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ recent experience in high-end residential landscape/construction industry
- Must have effective communication skills (both verbal and written) in English
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices, plant id is a bonus
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Competent in the safe and responsible use of power tools and equipment (cut-off saws, plate tampers, jackhammers, skill saws, sod cutter, drills, etc.)
- Physically fit with strong stamina
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Effective stress management, time management and conflict management skills
- Ability to operate skid steers and excavators
Work Conditions:
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Knowledge of Landscape Management Network is an asset
- Knowledge of Estimating an asset
Work Remotely
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Pay: $33.00-$45.00 per hour
