Junior Estimator – Autobody Industry
Busy autobody shop located in Surrey is currently looking for a Junior Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience and a strong interest in the automotive and collision repair industry. This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining on-site parts operations and customer consignments, assisting with inventory control and replenishment activities, and providing support to management with daily operations.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of Parts or Service experience in the automotive industry (an asset)
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and pleasant telephone manner
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Reliable and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask
- Flexible, adaptable, and dependable in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- References required
- Must adhere to all WorkSafeBC health and safety protocols
Duties May Include:
- Assisting the Manager with day-to-day activities
- Ordering and receiving parts
- Posting and scanning parts invoices
- Processing parts returns and credits
- Distributing parts to technicians
- Organizing parts carts according to repair jobs and technicians
- Mirror matching all incoming parts
- Assisting with inventory control and replenishment
- Providing customer service backup support when necessary
Compensation:
Wages are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Position is full time with option for Benefits after 3 months
