Unlike traditional restoration companies, we are a specialized mitigation support company. We do not perform demolition, material removal, tear-out, or water extraction services. Instead, our technicians focus on the technical side of restoration through structural drying, moisture mapping, equipment installation, monitoring, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency and scheduled mitigation service calls throughout the Lower Mainland.
- Perform moisture inspections and develop drying strategies using IICRC standards and industry best practices.
- Install, monitor, adjust, and remove drying equipment including:
- Low Grain Refrigerant (LGR) dehumidifiers
- Air movers
- HEPA Air Filtration Devices (AFDs)
- Desiccant dehumidification systems
- Specialty drying systems such as Injectidry and floor drying systems
- Record psychrometric readings and moisture content using professional moisture meters and monitoring equipment.
- Complete accurate job documentation using digital reporting platforms such as Encircle.
- Evaluate equipment performance and make adjustments to maximize drying efficiency.
- Communicate professionally with restoration contractors, project managers, and property owners throughout the drying process.
- Deliver, install, and retrieve drying equipment while ensuring it is operating safely and efficiently.
- Inspect, clean, test, and maintain company equipment to ensure it is ready for deployment.
- Follow all company policies, IICRC standards, and WorkSafeBC safety requirements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency response outside regular business hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, property maintenance, or a related field is considered an asset.
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification is preferred or a willingness to obtain certification.
- Understanding of moisture mapping, psychrometry, and structural drying principles is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in occupied residential and commercial environments.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Willingness to travel when opportunities arise.
