The Senior Technician Audio Visual - Service collaborates with the Client Services Team to support customers with service requests, preventative maintenance as well as small move, add, and change (MAC) work. Responsible for documentation & reporting of findings & solutions for each service job performed. Strong communication skills & discipline, internally and externally, are necessary to be successful at providing an excellent customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review service ticket requirements and plan accordingly.

Coordinate equipment & company vehicle resources.
-
Review material options and verify count accuracy.
-
Facilitate the delivery of staged materials to the jobsite.
-
Review, modify and red line job documentation for assigned tickets.
-
Communicate & coordinate with the Client Services Team regarding schedule, materials, & job status.
-
Perform service work in a professional manner, maintaining a professional appearance and attitude while adhering to company established best practices.

Commissioning of trade specific systems including, but not limited to: Device & cable testing, System functionality testing, System settings/configurations, Firmware updates and User acceptance testing.

Ensure all system documentation is updated and accurate.

Adhere to all applicable safety rules and regulations.
-
Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite.
-
Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other.
-
Work in confined spaces as necessary.
-
This position requires on-call shift work, this is mandatory.

Occasional light travel may be required.
-
Perform other tasks as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
5 + years of experience in a technical role within the audio-visual industry.
-
Progressive experience maintaining and servicing complex Audio-Visual systems in a commercial environment.
-
Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
-
Valid Driver’s License and clean abstract.

Must be able to pass a background check

Ability to pass pre-employment screening
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Experience working in the hospitality, healthcare, and/or post-secondary industries.
-
CTS, CTS-I, Extron, Biamp, Crestron, Q-SYS, Poly and other certifications.

Engineering or estimating skills

Knowledge of how to program systems
