EXPERIENCED BCCSA certified Traffic Control Person’s (TCP) to join our continuous growing team with various Municipalities and Civil Construction contracts. We pride ourselves as a hard working team with a high standard of safety. You must have a reliable vehicle that can travel from as far as the Fraser Valley to the North Shore to reach various job sites.

TCP Qualifications ($20-25/hr):
- SiteDocs: Complete Field Level Risk Assessment (FLRA) prior to your shift is mandatory
- Must be familiar with WorksafeBC Part 18 regulations and the ability to follow them
- Must be able to work independently and be a team player
- Must be available Monday-Friday "weekends optional"
- Ability to work long hours in all weather conditions
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Effectively conduct traffic control tasks at worksites to protect yourself, workers and the public and create a safe and pleasant work environment
- Stop, slow & direct traffic and ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic
- You will ensure the safety through work zones and respond to emergencies and hazards.
- Work well with your Lane Control Technician (LCT) and offer assistance when needed as you may be required to assist workers with setting out equipment
- Adhere to WorksafeBC, MVA Act & MOT standards & regulations and to follow all Way To Go Traffic Solutions policies and procedures
- Report and participate in incidents or hazard investigations as necessary to ensure compliance with reporting and investigative policies and procedures.
- Respond to dispatch calls in a timely manner

What we’re looking for from you:
⁃ Must have a Valid BCCSA Traffic Control Certificate (TCP)
- Must have 6-inch Steel Toed Boots
⁃ Positive attitude and ability to follow direction
⁃ Punctual, reliability and teamwork is a must!
- Physical fit to handle long periods of standing in all weather conditions
- Teamwork and excellent communication skills is a must!
