At Murrayville Plumbing & Heating, we take pride in being a trusted, full-service company that delivers reliable plumbing, heating, and drainage solutions across the Lower Mainland.

The main focus of this role is operating our specialized fleet of trucks, which includes our Vacuum Truck, Lowboy Vacuum Truck, Jetter Truck, Dump Truck, and Hydro Vacuum Truck. These trucks play a key role in the services we provide to property managers, contractors, and homeowners — from hydro-jetting sanitary lines to supporting major excavation and restoration projects.

While truck operation is the core responsibility, we value team players who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. When truck work is light, you’ll assist with a variety of other tasks both in our shop and out on job sites. This could include supporting plumbing crews, helping with equipment setup and maintenance, or pitching in during restoration and emergency response work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Operate company fleet vehicles to support scheduled service calls, projects, and site requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse and yard at all times including opening and closing duties of the shop.
Perform routine equipment and vehicle maintenance, complete minor mechanical repairs, and coordinate larger repairs as required.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks to ensure fleet safety and reliability.
Provide on-site support to plumbing crews when additional assistance is required.
Deliver, pick up, and stage equipment, materials, and parts to support efficient job completion.
Accurately complete service logs and maintenance records while consistently following company safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience operating vacuum trucks.
Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence (Or Higher) with Air Brake Endorsement.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Must be able to drive standard (manual transmission).
Mechanically inclined — able to troubleshoot and fix basic equipment issues.
Physically fit and okay with hands-on, outdoor work.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and a solid team player.

Bonus if you also have:

Previous experience with hydro jetting or septic systems.
Basic plumbing knowledge or experience assisting plumbing technicians.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$36.00 per hour
