Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our team in Sussex, NB. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong background in serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and safety protocols
Handle food with care, maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation practices
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, and plating dishes
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
Strong skills in serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and team members
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; availability during peak hours is a plus
Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable for this role

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
